  • PSYC& 100 – General Psychology or PSYCH& 200 Lifespan Development Psychology

Quantitative Skill (5 credits)

  • MATH& 146 – Introduction to Statistics

Science (20 credits)

  • CHEM& 121 – Introduction to Chemistry
  • BIOL& 241 – Human Anatomy and Physiology I
  • BIOL& 242 – Human Anatomy and Physiology II
  • BIOL& 260 – Microbiology

Humanities (10 credits)

  • ENGL 102 Research and Persuasive Writing or ENGL 235 Technical Writing   (note: ENGL 205 is also accepted in place of ENGL 102)
  • Additional 5 credits of humanities of your choice: courses in languages, communication, arts or film for example

  • All prerequisites require a 2.5 GPA or higher.
  • Have questions about prerequisites?  Information Sessions are a great place to get answers.
  • If you have specific questions about your transcripts and would like to have an unofficial evaluation by the Program Director, please send a copy to Fred Goglia fgoglia@highline.edu with specific questions regarding courses.
  • Apply for the program upon completion of 30 of the 45 required prerequisites.
  • MATH&091 and BIOL&160 are not counted in the 45 credits of prerequisites.
  • Please note that courses below 100 are not included in the required 180 credits for the program. All courses must be above 100.

This suggested curriculum plan is if you have course prerequisites or placement eligibility for MATH& 146 and ENGL& 101.
