Clinical Rotations
Students will complete approximately 5 quarters of clinical practice during the program. Clinical rotations will be at various medical sites in the Puget Sound area. While under the supervision of an experienced respiratory therapist, students will perform different aspects of respiratory therapy on a large range of patients, including newborn, pediatric, and adult patient populations.
During these rotations students will spend over 600 hours working with patients, physicians and respiratory therapists. Clinical hours will be one, two, or three 8-hour days per week.
Students are required to have proper documentation prior to clinical including health records and criminal record check. If you have questions about the requirements for clinical please contact the program coordinator.
